The Assumption Parish Recreation District No.2 would like to say THANK YOU to the community for your continued support of our recreational mission. Many thanks goes out to our local families and individuals for finding time in your hectic schedules to participate in and attend recreational activities for the youth of our community, and your utilization of the many options Veterans Park offers you and your family.
Board member goals focus on making lives and our community better now and in the future by providing access to outdoor space to play and exercise; facilities for self-directed and organized recreation; positive alternatives for youth; and activities that facilitate social connections, human development and lifelong learning.
Veterans Park has two covered pavilions, playground areas, two tennis courts, basketball court, baseball and softball fields, rest rooms, covered picnic area, and a paved walking path with exercise stations along the way.
